ADDENDUM NO. 1 700 East Sanitary Sewer Project SOUTH OGDEN CITY CORPORATION The following change is made to the Bidding and Contract Documents for the above-referenced project: 1. The bid deadline and opening is changed from 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024. All references to the bid deadline and opening in the advertisement and bid form are changed accordingly. This addendum is hereby attached to and made part of the Contract Documents, and each Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their bid. Advertisement for Bid 700 EAST SANITARY SEWER PROJECT South Ogden City Corporation RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of South Ogden City, 3950 South Adams Avenue, South Ogden, Utah 84403, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, for the 700 East Sanitary Sewer Project for South Ogden City Corporation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Construct approximately 2,405 feet of 10-inch diameter sewer and 545 feet of 8-inch diameter sewer with manholes, pipe connections, and surface feature restoration. The work also includes the replacement of approximately 900 feet of asphalt walking path and other items, as indicated in the bid documents. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located near 5500 South 700 East, South Ogden City. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 90 days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the aforementioned office of South Ogden City. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be obtained upon application and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee to the office of Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, 1150 South Depot Drive, Suite 225, Ogden, Utah 84404. Bid documents will be available online at https://www.wasatchcivil.com. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to South Ogden City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will secure insurance, performance, and payment bonds, and promptly execute the Contract. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions concerning this project shall be directed to the Project Engineer. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: South Ogden City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
