JOSEPH TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING April 30, 2024 PRESENT: Commission members: Vic Middleton, Doug Nowell, Brent Parker, Ed Payette, and Peggy Smith. EXCUSED: Sue Gestring GUESTS: Dallen Singleton The meeting was held at the Joseph Community Center and called to order by Ed Payette at 7:00 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of March 26, 2024 meeting: Motion: Motion to accept minutes made by Vic and seconded by Ed. Motion passed with approvals by Vic, Doug, Brent, Ed, and Peggy. No votes - none. Minutes of April 8, 2024 work meeting: Motion: Motion to accept minutes made by Vic and seconded by Brent. Motion passed with approvals by Vic, Doug, Brent, Ed, and Peggy. No votes - none. AGENDA ITEMS: Dallen Singleton application request for an 8'x40' storage container at 225 N 100 E (parcel #2-J13-2). Storage container ordinance was read to applicant by Ed. Motion: Vic motioned to approved the application. Motion seconded by Brent. Motion passed with approvals by Vic, Doug, Brent, Ed, and Peggy. No votes - none. Referred Mr. Singleton to the Town Council meeting of May 9 at 7:00 p.m. DISCUSSION ITEMS: Fence ordinance was discussed and reviewed. Changes will be made and ordinance voted on at the May meeting. Vic will work on preparing a sample application diagram to be included with documentation given to those requesting a building application. This will be provided to the Town Clerks when completed.
