Description/Agenda

Springville City Incorporated (Owner) will accept bids for the Water Reclamation Facility Maintenance and Repair Services Contract (5 Year) project according to specifications provided in this bid contract, and described in general as: The services to be provided under this Request for Bid are for the provision of labor, equipment, materials, supplies and expertise necessary to perform periodic general maintenance and repair to Springville City's Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The work the contractor will provide includes but is not limited to: Repairs to inoperative or malfunctioning equipment, pipes, pumps or motors at the WRF. Insect, test, repair and/or rebuild equipment, pipes, pumps and motors at the WRF as needed. Replacement, and/or modification of equipment, pipes, pumps and motors. If replacement equipment, pipes, pumps or motors is needed the City, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to enter into an agreement outside of this contract for the purchase of such. A detailed description of the services requested and qualifications needed are detailed in the Scope of Work section of the Agreement included with this bid invitation. Submit your bid via SciQuest, or in a sealed and clearly marked envelope with the Bid # to the Springville Finance Department at 110 South Main Street, Springville, Utah 84663. Bids will be accepted by the Owner until 2:00 pm local time on June 12 2024. Bids must be received and logged in prior to the date and time indicated. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The sealed bids will be opened by the Public Works Department, at Springville City Hall, 110 South Main Street on June 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm. The Owner will then make the decision of award and contact the individual bidders with the decision on or after June 19 2024. An optional pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on June 5 2024 at the Springville WRF, 500 W 700 N Springville Utah. All contractors intending to submit a bid may attend to obtain relevant information concerning the project. Bidders are advised that information affecting specifications, conditions, scope of work, etc may be discussed. The pre-bid conference will be held on site and mostly consist of a site visit.
