SALT LAKE CITY PLANNING DIVISION ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING May 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting was held electronically The Administrative Hearing for the Salt Lake City Planning Division was held remotely on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Mayara Lima, Zoning Administrator, was present as the Administrative Hearing Officer and called the meeting to order. Mayara Lima, Administrative Hearing Officer reviewed the hearing procedures including the boundaries of her duties. She then introduced the first conditional use request that was to be reviewed. 1. Cannon Point Phase 1 Preliminary Plat Amendment at approximately 2441 S, 2427 S, and 2421 S Cannon Point Drive - Jason Boal with Snell & Wilmer, representing the property owner, is requesting preliminary approval to amend the Cannon Point Phase 1 Subdivision Plat. The purpose of the amendment is to combine the lots located at the above stated address into one lot. The property is zoned FR-2/21,780 Foothills Residential (FR-2), which allows for single-family detached dwellings, and is located in Council District 6, represented by Dan Dugan. The property is currently vacant. There will be no public hearing held for this item. The applicant Jason Boal gave a formal presentation providing additional visuals and information on the petition. Mayara Lima, Administrative Hearing Officer, asked for clarification on the difference in building allowance. Krissy Gilmore elaborated on the development capabilities of the zone. Motion Mayara Lima, Administrative Hearing officer stated, 'Based on the information presented and discussion, I approve this Preliminary Plat application with the conditions listed in the staff report as recommended by staff.'
