EAGLE MOUNTAIN CITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Eagle Mountain City Council will hold public hearings on June 4, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following items: - Amending the Consolidated Fee Schedule for Water Rates: A proposal to adopt a resolution amending the Eagle Mountain Consolidated Fee Schedule for Water Rates. This is being considered to ensure there is enough funding to operate and maintain the City's water system while also keeping the water fund financially healthy. Eagle Mountain Staff Point of Contact: Terrence Dela Pena, tdelapena@emcity.org - Amending the Consolidated Fee Schedule for Sewer Rates: A proposal to adopt a resolution amending the Eagle Mountain Consolidated Fee Schedule for Sewer Rates. The Eagle Mountain City Council is considering adjusting the sewer rates to ensure enough money to operate and maintain the city's sewer system and accommodate the Timpanogos Special Service District rate increase. This will also allow the City to keep the sewer fund financially healthy as it plans to expand its treatment facilities. Eagle Mountain Staff Point of Contact: Terrence Dela Pena, tdelapena@emcity.org - FY 2025 Budget Adoption: State statute requires that the City Council hold a public hearing on the tentative budget and that the budget be adopted by June 30. The tentative budget was accepted by the City Council on May 7, 2024, and a public hearing will be held on June 4, 2024, before the final adoption of the budget resolution on June 18, 2024. The final budget and certified tax rate will be the document that governs the expenditures for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
