- Highland City 5400 West Civic Center Drive ~ Suite 1 Highland, UT 84003 Phone 756-5751 | Fax 756-6903 NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 28, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider and receive comments regarding the following: - Highland City is considering amending Section 3-612 of the Highland City Development Code related to fences, theme walls, screen walls, and retaining walls. The potential changes include modifying open fencing/opacity requirements along trail and open space corridors, how and when fences can be constructed on retaining walls, and the definition of retaining walls. For more information or special accommodation to participate in the meeting, please contact the Highland City at (801) 772-4506 Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS. This notice was also posted in the following locations on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
