PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, commencing at 10:00 a.m. This meeting is also available by Zoom: link- Join Zoom Meeting https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85260293450?pwd=eGpvYjRKKzNSb0p5L1NXemlLdEwvZz09 Meeting ID: 852 6029 3450 Passcode: 503230 The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Bolos B. Pledge of Allegiance- Steve Collier C. Invocation- Sheriff Arbon D. Thought of the Day- Commissioner Bolos E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes)- F. Recognition- Recognition to the Weber County Sheriff's Office for assisting in training in drone warfare. Presenters: Major Spencer Randle, Master Sergeant Kevin Call, and Master Sergeant Ryan Jonkman of the 19th Special Forces Group Airborne G. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of warrants #101836-101904, #484036-484201 and #357-359 in the amount of $2,274,334.04. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $192,463.66. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of ACH payment to Zions Bank in the amount of $292,383.29. 5. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on May 7, 2024. 6. Request for approval of new business licenses. 7. Request for approval of new beer licenses. 8. Request for approval of updates to the following policies- HR Policy 3-200 Reasonable Accommodation HR Policy 4-200 Leave Practices 9. Request for approval of Right of Way Contract by and between Weber County and Joshua Clark to purchase right-of-way along 2550 South for corridor preservation. 10. Request for approval of Right of Way Contract by and between Weber County and Michael & Karen Cragun to purchase right-of-way along 2550 South for corridor preservation. 11. Request from the Community Development Department for approval to sell surplus property identified as Parcel #17-045-0030 to North Ogden City Corp. 12. Request for approval of an amended contract by and between Weber County and Restaurant & Store Equipment Company for the 12th Street Jail Fridge and Freezer. H. Action Items- 1. Request for approval of a first reading of an ordinance of Weber County amending section 16-2-12 'Surveyor's Office Fees' and portions of Title 45 'Surveying ad Survey Monuments' of the WeberCounty Code of Ordinances. Presenter: Steve Collier 2. Request for approval of a first reading of an ordinance amending the Weber County Code provisions that govern the planning commissions, including adopting new rules of order for the planning commissions. Presenter: Rick Grover I. Public Hearing- 1. Request for a motion to adjourn the public meeting and convene a public hearing. 2. Public hearing to discuss amendments to the operating and capital budget of Weber County for the 2024 calendar year. Presenter: Steffani Ebert 3. Public Comments (please limit comments to 3 minutes)- 4. Request for a motion to adjourn the public hearing and reconvene the public meeting. 5. Action on public hearing- I2- Request for approval of a resolution amending the operating and capital budget of Weber County for the 2024 calendar year. J. Commissioner Comments- K.
