NOTICE OF KANE COUNTY WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT PUBLIC HEARING AMENDMENT TO 2023-24 FISCAL BUDGET AND ADOPTION OF 2024-25 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
The Kane County Water Conservancy District will hold its annual budget hearing June 13, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Kane County Water Conservancy District Board Room at 725 E. Kaneplex Dr, Kanab, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is to open and amend the current year's budget ending June 30, 2024 and also approve the next fiscal year's budget beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025.
The Kane County Water Conservancy District Board of Directors will be reviewing and voting on the proposed rate increases for the Duck Creek Water System. Proposed increases are as follows:
Duck Creek Water System:
Base Rate Increase $2.00 from $40.75 monthly to $42.75 monthly.
Johnson Canyon/East Kane Water System:
Standby Rate Increase $5.00 from $15.00 monthly to $20.00 monthly.
Starting July. 1, 2024.
