PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:

MAYOR UPDATES:
- The Mayor has talked to a local deputy about the vandalism on the new picnic tables. The Deputy did have the opportunity to talk to one of the youth that was there. The other 2 youths were from out of town. The mayor has not heard anything else from the deputy as of now. Steve has taken the tables and put them in the shed until further arrangements can be made.
- CIB list for further projects have been turned in
- The mayor is working on finding a computer/recorder for the PC
- no update on springs as of now
- An electronic meeting ordinance was tabled. Mayor needed more time to review the ordinance.
- Ken Alder has quite a bit of land for sale but a lot of the property cannot be built on because of the town's well protection zone. The mayor is concerned that Ken is possibly selling land that cannot be built on. The mayor is also concerned about Alder Lane. He is wondering if the town should possibly take over Alder Lane because of the growth that is happening in that area.
-Doug is concerned about Mikel Dunns Mobile home. The Mayor had Nikole ask her what her plans were and Mikel said she was planning on getting it going as soon as the weather was nicer. Mikel Dunn does not have a building permit.
ROADS:
The mayor would like to order the cheaper weed spray for the spring and start getting the weeds taken care of right now. The fall weed spray will be decided on later.
COUNCILMAN DUTIES:
-The Mayor wanted to go over each councilman's duties as well as projects and goals that may have been forgotten about.
Doug is over planning commission
Troy is over water, parks & bldgs
Marty is over water, parks & bldgs
Terry is over roads & cemetery
Some ideas the mayor would like the council to concentrate on is weed control, prospective road ways and names, cemetery updates, cemetery space increase, water usage amounts, water master plan, upgrades to the park, old table disposal, labeling the new tables in the JCC and a new security system. The mayor would like each councilman to think about some ideas, do some homework and bring their ideas and plans to the council meeting next month. The mayor would also like the planning commission to look into and research possible setback changes and lot size changes as well as anything to improve the town. He wants to make sure the ordinances we have now are improving the town, not hindering it.
Marty motioned to adjourn, Troy 2nd the motion. All were in favor
