Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON NEW CULINARY WATER CONNECTIONS NEWTON, UTAH PROCLAMATION The Newton Town Council hereby proclaims, effective May 2, 2024, that due to the scarcity of water in the Newton Town water system water conservation measures shall continue. Furthermore, applications for new potable water connections to the Newton Town water system will be limited to two connections. Said limitation of two connections shall be in effect until the regularly scheduled July 2024 Newton Town Council meeting. At that time, Newton Town Council will reevaluate the scarcity of water to determine appropriate further action. Effective date: May 2, 2024 Notice dated this 3rd day of May 2024 Karla R.
