Planning and Zoning Minutes
MARCH 11, 2024, AT 5:00 PM
The Panguitch Planning and Zoning meeting was held at the Panguitch City Office at 25 S 200 E. Those in attendance were City Manager Mat Houston, City Recorder Tyrissa Howell, Committee Chair Chad Veater, and committee members Clint Albrecht, Clarence Herron, and Tracy Wright.
Others in attendance were Kevin Smedley and Mike Sarles.
Adoption of the Agenda
Clint Albrecht moved, seconded by Tracy Wright to adopt the agenda. The motion passed with all in favor.
Approval of the Minutes
Tracy Wright moved, seconded by Clint Albrecht to approve the minutes as corrected. The motion passed with all in favor.
Public Hearing - General Plan
The State of Utah requires the General Plan to be updated every six years. The plan should contain policy, goals, and plans for future development.
Clarence Herron moved, seconded by Tracy Wright to enter a Public Hearing. The motion passed with all in favor.
Kevin Smedley discussed and made edits to the General Plan with the Planning and Zoning Committee including safe routes to schools and changing the wording of dog to animals.
Clint Albrecht moved, seconded by Tracy Wright to exit the Public Hearing. The motion passed with all in favor.
Signage at 195 N Main
Tracy Wright moved, seconded by Clarence Herron to approve the signage for Phillips 66 at 195 N Main. The motion passed with all in favor.
Adjournment
Tracy Wright moved to adjourn at 5:34 pm.
