Scott Messel Community Development Director Notice of Public Hearing The Washington County Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing regarding a proposed zone change from the RA-1 (Residential Agricultural 1 acre minimum lot size) zone, the OSC-20 (Open Space Conservation 20 acre minimum lot size) zone, and the A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size) zone to the A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size) zone for Parcel 4041-B-HV, which will be reconfigured by adjusting lot lines. The new zone for Lot 1 along the new lot lines will be A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size). Additionally, the applicant has proposed the AEO (Agriculture Estate Overlay) zone be applied to the newly configured Lot 1. The applicant has further proposed a zone change from the OSC-20 (Open Space Conservation 20 acre minimum lot size) zone. the OST-20 (Open Space Transition 20 acre minimum lot size) zone, and the A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size) zone for parcel 4038-HV, which will be reconfigured by adjusting lot lines. The new zone for Lot 2 along the new lot lines will be A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size) zone. The lot lines will be adjusted so Lot 1 will be 20.06 acres, zoned AEO (Agriculture Estate Overlay), and Lot 2 will be 36.22 acres, zoned A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre minimum lot size). This action will combine and reconfigure existing parcels. The applicant is Douglas and Aileen Howard. The Washington County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding this matter on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 1:30 PM in the Washington County Administration Building Commission Chambers at 111 E.
