BACKGROUND: (Presented by Kimberly Ruesch, Administrative Services Director) The Eagle Mountain City Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 will be presented and discussed.
RES--Adopt Tentative Budget
13.B ORDINANCE/PUBLIC HEARING - An Ordinance of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, Rezoning 0.62 acres, located at 1215 E Harmony Way, from Tier 1 Residential to R1 for the purpose of locating an LDS Seminary Building
BACKGROUND: (Presented by David Stroud, Senior Planner) Staff has reviewed a concept plan for an LDS Seminary building proposed to be built south of the Alpine School District's new middle school in the Clearview Estates. This property lies within the Tier 1 Residential Zone which is no longer found in the City's Municipal Code and the proposed building would not conform to that zone's setback requirements. This is a City-initiated effort to change the land's zoning designation to the R1 Zone, which would allow for a less restrictive rear setback for the proposed use.
ORD--Rezone Tier 1 Res to R1 Seminary Bldg.

13.D ORDINANCE/PUBLIC HEARING - An Ordinance of Eagle Mountain City Utah, Enacting Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Chapter 2.20 Compensation Schedule of Statutory Officers
BACKGROUND: (Presented by Marcus Draper, City Attorney) In the 2024 legislative session, the Utah legislature enacted Senate Bill 91. One of the changes resulting from this new law is that cities are now required to fix the compensation schedule of statutory officers in the municipal code. This new chapter will comply with the new statutory requirement.
