- Amended Public Meeting Special City Council Meeting PUBLIC NOTICE, as amended is hereby given that Orangeville City will hold a Special City Council Meeting to make the appointment to fill the vacancy of mayor due to the midterm resignation of Mayor David Robertson on April 11, 2024. The City Council will conduct applicant interviews and vote openly on May 07, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., at Orangeville City Hall, 25 North Main St. In compliance with Utah Code Ann. §§ 20A-1-510, 10-3-507(3), 52-4-205(3)(c), and 52-4-203(2)(c), the majority of the council members, who are not applicants, may vote to the fill the vacancy. Any applicant must be a registered voter of Orangeville City and meet the qualifications of Utah Code Ann. § 10-3-301. Applications may be picked up at City Hall and must be submitted on or before Monday, May 6, 2024, by 5:00 P.M. All Interviews and the vote will occur in the open public meeting for consideration of all qualified applicants. Amanda Lake Orangeville City Recorder
