La Verkin City Council Meeting Amended Agenda Wednesday, May 1, 2024, 6:00 p.m. GYM, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah A. Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Presentation: 1. New subdivision approval procedure ordinance-Brad Robbins C. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Agenda 3. Meeting Minutes: April 3, 2024, work and regular meeting 4. Checks and Invoices: $838,424.87 D. Public Hearing: 1. A resolution declaring surplus and available for sale, trade, and/or other appropriate disposition, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2015 Ford Escape Sport, and a 2006 Utility Trailer (Ditch Witch, Vaccur Trailer). E. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve an Interlocal Agreement with Washington County Water Conservancy District regarding the authorization of wastewater reuse. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution R-2024-07; a resolution declaring certain property to be surplus property and providing for disposition by public or private sale. 3. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to accept the FY 2024-2025 tentative budget and set the public hearing for May 15, 2024. 4. Discussion and possible action to approve an Interlocal Agreement with Zion National Park for certain animal impound and sheltering services. 5. Discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance No. 2024-13, an ordinance amending provisions of Section 10-2-9 of the La Verkin City Code relating to procedures and standards for approving amendments to the general plan and amendments to the zoning map and text of the zoning ordinance. 6. Discussion regarding the La Verkin City Scholarship award applications. F. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. The time limit is 20 minutes, and each individual can take no more than 3 minutes. H.
