- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS SOUTH OGDEN CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Planning Commission will hold public hearings to receive and consider comments on the following items: - Whether the keeping of chickens and/or other fowl should be allowed in South Ogden City - Proposed amendments to the Moderate Income Housing chapter of the General Plan having to do with the timelines of the strategic initiatives The public hearing will be held at 6:15 pm, or as soon as the agenda permits, during the South Ogden City Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The meeting will be located at City Hall, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403, in the city council chambers and is open to the public. Anyone interested may attend and offer comment. Written comments may be submitted before the meeting via email to lkapetanov@southogdencity.gov. Emailed comments will only be accepted until 5 pm, Thursday, May 9. The public hearing will also be streamed live at https://www.youtube.com/@southogdencity and https://www.facebook.com/southogdencity/. Comments for the public hearing can be submitted through the comment feature on YouTube or Facebook during the appropriate time during the meeting. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during the meeting should notify the City Recorder at 801-622-2709 at least 24 hours in advance.
