- ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 350 SOUTH RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (#210) Sealed Bids for the construction of the 350 South Reconstruction Project (#210) will be received electronically by Clearfield City, through SciQuest before the bid opening date and time. Prior to submitting a bid, the contractor must register as a vendor on Sciquest. Clearfield City is not responsible for vendor accounts or access to Sciquest. The Bidder is encouraged to allow sufficient time for the process when submitting bids. A public bid opening will be conducted but attending in person will not be possible. Bids will be received until 1:00 PM local time on May 16, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud via a live video stream to all participants. The Project consists of the reconstruction of 350 South. Work will include the removal and reconstruction of all utilities (storm sewer, sanitary sewer and culinary water), full reconstruction of the roadway, curb, gutter and sidewalk and is generally located between Main Street and Depot Street. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $1,349,051.00. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. All who are interested may participate in the bid opening electronically through Zoom Meeting either online: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89484941893 or by calling 1 253 205 0468 and entering Meeting ID 894 8494 1893. No pre-bid conference will be held. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted on SciQuest no later than 5:00 pm on May 13, 2024. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Upon request, a printed copy of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for $40 per copy. Costs related to obtaining Bidding Documents are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
