Description/Agenda: A petition has been filed proposing annexation of an area into Midway City. The Midway City Council received notice of certification of the petition, from the Midway City Recorder, on 24 April 2024. The area proposed for annexation is located at 1221 North Pine Canyon Road, Midway (Map attached). The complete petition for annexation is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Midway City Recorder, 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049. Midway City may grant the petition and annex the area unless by the end of business hours on 24 May 2024 a written protest to the petition is filed with the Wasatch County Boundary Commission, at 25 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032, by an entity or real property owner authorized to file such a protest. A copy of the protest must also be delivered to the Midway City Recorder at 75 North 100 West, Midway, Utah 84049.
