IV. Open issues
a) City Minutes by Scot Bevan. The city has selected a new city atorney. New developments in the process of approval.
b) Update on Facebook page and City's website by Clint. Clint not present. No updates shared.
c) City Council Presenta on was cancelled due to losing the video producer. Discussion for new producers. Rhet will contact another video producer that he knows. Byron will ask daughter that works in the Tooele County School District to ask if the video could be
shown in the schools. Alta suggested asking at the High school for video producers as a school project or who is their video producer for the sport games. The members were going to check on Facebook for a contact.
V. New business
a) Linda asked about the emails that Alta forwarded from the State. One is a Preserva on conference planned for June in Provo. Cost for registra on is $25 per person. Scot and Rhet will ask the City if commission members could be reimbursed if they atended. The knowledge obtain at the conference will benefit the commission.
b) Awarded 2024 Grants. Discussion about email from the State that shows the CLG that obtained the grants and their projects ideas. Could the video qualify for the grant? Alta men oned about the app that the State wanted to produce based on our Historic Treasures booklet. The commission discussed that areas could be included in an app. Rhet proposed marking with a plaque historic sites in the city.
c) The commission plans to meet on April 10th to con nue the project ideas discussion.
d) Alta promised to send a reminder to Cavet to send the sign up flyer for Historic Tour.
