- PUBLIC NOTICE Inquiry #24-122 Sealed BIDS will be received for the SGU AIRPORT PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROJECT, AIP Project No. 3-49-0060-47-2024, located at the St. George Regional Airport, St. George, Utah. BIDS must be submitted in a sealed envelope prior to 2:00 pm (local time), Thursday, May 16, 2024 to: The City of St. George, Purchasing Department ATTN: Mary Wahl, Purchasing Manager 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770 Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside BID #24-122 and SGU Airport Pavement Maintenance Project. The BIDS shall be opened in an electronic meeting. Notice for the BID opening shall be sent to everyone on the Plan Holders List prior to the BID opening. Please note that any late bids for any reason will NOT be accepted. Pre-Bid Meeting. There will be a pre-BID meeting and site visit for this project to be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 10:00 am (local time), at the St. George Regional Airport, ARFF Building, 4508 South Airport Parkway, St. George, Utah 84770. The pre-bid meeting agenda can be downloaded from the City's website via the link for the bidding documents shown in the Public Notice. A site visit will be held directly after the meeting. If contractors wish to visit the site at a different time, they can schedule the visit by calling Kirt McDaniel, 435-632-9980. The bidder shall visit the project site and become familiar with the existing site conditions. Technical questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to Kirt McDaniel with Woolpert, Inc., 35 South 400 West, Suite 200, St. George, Utah 84770, (435)574-5308, Fax: (435)673-8484, or email kirt.mcdaniel@woolpert.com. The BID includes the following: Schedule I (Federal) - Runway 1-19, Taxiway A & Terminal Apron Schedule II (Federal) - East Apron Schedule III (Federal) - Taxiway B & West Apron Schedule IV (Non-Federal) - East Apron, West Apron & Terminal Apron Construction for this project is expected to take 82 Working Days. The major work involved in the proposed project includes: asphalt crack seal, concrete joint seal, asphalt seal coat, rubber removal, and pavement markings.
