EAGLE MOUNTAIN SENIOR CITIZEN ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING March 6, 2024, 10:00 a.m. Eagle Mountain Senior Center 1632 East Heritage Drive, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005 1. Called to order 2. Approval of Minutes 3. Attendance 4. March Activities a. Senior Council Meeting 10 AM b. Lunches served March 6,13,14,20,21,27,28 at 12 Noon c. March 7 Lunch bunch 11:30 AM at Blossom restaurant in Saratoga Springs at 2082 N Hillcrest Rd d. Bingo March 18 refreshment provided Karan is in charge we are having an Irish Meal e. Craft Day March 20th 10 AM Wednesday f. Exercise Class Every Thursday from 11 to 11:30 AM g. Oil painting, Quilts and Puzzles available every Wednesday and Thursday, Thursday there will not be an instructor. h. Thursdays 10 am Sewing time led by Joye i. March 25th Nutrition=Loving yourself Karan will be doing this class council will prepare nutritional snacks. 5. April activities a. Senior council Meeting April 2nd b. April 4 Lunch bunch at Mi Hacienda in AF ? c. Lunches March 3,10,11,17,18,24,25. d. Thursdays Exercise class 11 AM. e. Craft Day 10 AM April 18th 50 Dollar budget f. Wed & Thursday Painting, Quilting, Puzzles 10 AM No instructor on Thursdays g. Sewing Thursday Mornings at 10 AM Joye in charge h. April 15 Bingo refreshment and bingo calling provided by an Saratoga Springs care center. i. April 22 Activity get to be planned. 6. Upcoming events a. Horseshoe pit is complete, we would like to plan a ribbon cutting ceremony and bbq on the May 2nd Tyson will come cook for us, We will invite city workers who worked so hard to make this pit nice. b. Garden Boxes have been added, Jack Roberts will be in charge with help from other seniors i. Rodeo in June 6, 7, 8. iii. We need to have the gentleman that talked about the History of Cedar Valley back for Part 2. iv. Matt Heffelfinger to talk on scams or maybe dinosaurs. v. Trip to tour Tyson plant vi. Pony Express days June booth for 2 days May 30 and 31 with parade on June 1 7. Open discussion Next council Meeting will be April 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM
