- Public Meeting Notice Mayoral Vacancy Public notice is hereby given that Orangeville City will hold an open public meeting to make the appointment to fill the vacancy of mayor due to the midterm resignation of Mayor David Robertson on April 11, 2024. The city council will conduct applicant interviews and vote at the open public meeting on May 9, 2024, at 6:00 P.M., at Orangeville City Hall, 25 North Main St., just prior to the regular City Council Meeting. In compliance with Utah Code Ann. §§ 20A-1-510, 10-3-507(3), 52-4-205(3)(c), and 52-4-203(2)(c), the majority of the council members, who are not applicants, may vote to the fill the vacancy in the open meeting. Any applicant must be a registered voter of Orangeville City and meet the qualifications of Utah Code Ann. § 10-3-301. Applications may be picked up at City Hall and must be submitted on or before Monday, May 6, 2024, by 5:00 P.M.
