NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AGRICULTURE PROTECTION AREA (West Mountain Meadows 2024) April 24, 2024 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Utah County Commission, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., in Room 1400 County Administration Building, I 00 East Center Street, Provo, Utah, to consider an Agriculture Protection Area for the West Mountain Meadows 2024 in Section 31 & 32 Township 8 South Range 2 East, and Section 1, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, and Section 5, 6 & 7, Township 9 South, Range 2 East and Section 36 Township 8 South, Range I East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, with a total area of 1460 acres. Modifications to add to the proposed Agriculture Protection Area the Pope parcel, number 300110032 (8.27 acres); the Murano parcel, number 300110003, (8.16 acres); the Jewett parcels, numbers 300110004 & 300110005, (7.16 acres); the Bean parcels, numbers 524510003 & 300200059, (12.36 acres); the Loveless parcel number 524510002, (5.99 acres); the Mayhew parcel, number 524510006, (8.86 acres). Modification to exclude the Price parcels, numbers 300140072 & 300140070, ( I 0.49 acres); the Brimhall parcels, numbers 300110085, 300110056, 300110066, 6001 I 0067 & 300120507 ( 11 acres); the Twede parcels, numbers 300180006, 300180013 300210010 & 300210057, (39.14 acres); the Lundell parcels, number 300180042, 300180004 & 300210069, ( 18.71 acres); the Schaerrer parcels, numbers 250460001, 25046002l,250460012 & 250460019, (95 acres); the Mather parcel, located within Payson City boundaries, number 300210002, (5.92 acres); and exclude all county roads rights-of-way as requested by the public works depa11111ent. The Utah County Planning Commission recommended that the proposed Agricultural Protection Area with modifications be approved. The Utah County Agricultural Advisory Board recommended the same, that the proposed Agricultural Protection Area with modifications be approved. Any person or entity may attend the pubIic hearing and comment for or against the proposed Agriculture Protection Area or provide written objection to the proposal to the Utah County Commission prior to the date of the public hearing.
