NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
SPECIAL SESSION
The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM or as soon thereafter as business allows. **This is an electronic meeting with the anchor location being the Eagle Mountain City Community Development Conference Room, located at 3726 E Campus Dr, Ste D Eagle Mountain, UT 84005.**
The Planning Commission will receive public comments concerning the following items:
- Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Amendments:
o EMMC 15.95 International Codes and EMMC 16.60 Building Permits: A proposal to enact an ordinance updating EMMC 15.95 and 16.60, related to Building Permits. The City enforces the International Building Code (IBC) that has been adopted by the State of Utah. The amendment gives the City extra points toward better fire insurance rates for residents and businesses. It also aligns City code with Utah State Code relative to construction timing and building permits, as well as updating information related to building permit fees. - Amending the Consolidated Fee Schedule for Building Permit Fees:
A proposal to adopt a resolution amending the Eagle Mountain Consolidated Fee Schedule for Building Permit Fees, particularly related to the valuation table used to calculate building permit fees. The amendment would add a note to the Building Permit Fees section of the Consolidated Fee Schedule stating that the International Building Code's Building Valuation Data (BVD) table will be used to generate building permit fees.
