Community Forum
Thursday, April 11, 2024, 7:00-9:00 pm
A Community Forum on Win-Win Implementation of the General Plan April 11, 2024, 7:00-9:00 PM held at the Boulder Community Center.
A Community chance to hear about the new Ordinance 2024-1
Boulder consulting planner, Lee Nellis, will lead a hands-on workshop on how both landowners and the community can benefit from the recently adopted lot size averaging provisions of the zoning ordinance. Participants will 'develop' some actual Boulder parcels using aerial photos and Monopoly houses. Participants will also explore how the Town's zoning could be further improved to create incentives for protecting open space and providing affordable (at least more affordable) housing.
This is a great opportunity for everyone in the Community. The Best Community Planning is when Community is willing to keep aware of how the process of town planning happens and how it works for the individual and how it also affects the whole community.
