NOTICE OF VACANCY
Cache County Fire District Board of Trustees
Cache County is seeking persons who wish to be considered for appointment as board members to the Cache County Fire District Board of Trustees to fill 2 vacancies. Applicants must be registered voters and must live within the boundaries of the fire district which includes all areas of Cache County with the exception of Logan City. A public hearing will be held at the Cache County Historic Courthouse Council Conference Room (199 North Main Street, Logan, Utah) on May 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Applicants should plan to attend and address the Fire District Board of Trustees expressing their interest in serving on this board. Interested persons may also attend to be heard. The Fire District Board of Trustees will adopt a resolution to appoint two applicants pending advice and consent of the Cache County Council. Once the Cache County Council gives advice and consent for the two appointees, the appointments become effective. Appointees will serve a 4-year term beginning January 1, 2024. Persons who wish to be considered for appointment must complete an application at https://forms.gle/HV3Z6UFoxnao3ine8 on or before May 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
