b. April 4 Lunch bunch at Mi Hacienda in AF
c. Lunches April 3,10,11,17,18,24,25.
d. Thursdays Exercise class 11:15 AM.
e. Craft Day 10 AM April 18th 50 Dollar budget
f. Wed & Thursday Painting, Quilting, Puzzles 10 AM No instructor on Thursdays
g. Sewing Thursday Mornings at 10 AM Joye in charge
h. April 15 Bingo refreshment and bingo calling provided by a Saratoga Springs care center.
i. April 22 Activity Movie night refreshments hot dogs, chips and popcorn
5. May activities
a. Senior Council Meeting May 7th 10 AM
b. Lunches served May 1,8,9,15,16,22,23,29,30 12 Noon
c. Lunch bunch at Senior Center Ribbon cutting ceremony for Horseshoe pit, Tyson Foods to BBQ for May 2
i. City employees that built pit invited plus City Council Members
d. Bingo May 13 at 5 PM Joye will do refreshments
e. May 18 10 AM planting flowers at Cemetery
f. Activity May 20 Matt Heffelfinger to do presentation on Dinosaurs Finger food served
g. Exercise class at 11:15 Thursdays 8,16,23,30
h. Craft class May 15th 10 AM
i. Wednesdays Puzzles, quilts, and Paint class
j. Thursdays, Sewing, Puzzles, Quilts, and painting without instructor
k. No activity on May 27 due to holiday
l. Booth at Pony Express days set up May 30 at 2PM booth opens at 4 PM, open till 8 PM. May 31 booth opens at set up 11:30 Booth opens at 12 Noon till 8 PM Tear Down.
m. Need to schedule time to make treats at senior center to be sold in booth
n. We will need to do a schedule of who will man booth and times.
6. Upcoming events
a. Pony Espresso days Parade on June 1st if you want to ride in parade bus will load at Senior Center at 8:30 AM
b. Garden Boxes have been added, Jack Roberts will be in charge with help from other seniors
i. Jack will need to talk to everyone to see what we should plant
ii. Rodeo in June 6, 7, 8.
iii. We need to have the gentleman that talked about the History of Cedar Valley back for Part 2.
iv. Trip to tour Tyson plant
v. Rodeo June 7th
