MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Marriott-Slaterville City Council will hold its regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Municipal Complex, 1570 West 400 North. The meeting shall begin at 6:30 P.M. with the agenda as follows: CITY COUNCIL MEETING - THURSDAY, MARCH 21, 2024 - 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Discussion/action on minutes. 3. Review of business license applications: a. Yard Masters Snow Removal, 3644 Pioneer Road. b. KJ Trailers, 1470 South 1200 West. c. Hearth & Home, 1007 South 1700 West. d. Precision Asphalt, 2143 West 700 North #1. 4. Arbor Day Celebration 2024 tree planting in honor of Lynette Deru, Community Forester. 5. Discussion/action on Ordinance amending the Zoning Map from A-1 to ITZ for Onions 52. 6. Discussion/action on Ordinance amending Marriott-Slaterville Municipal Code Sections: 13.26.170 relating to certain improvements in new subdivision; 13.26.160 Family Pool Regulations; 13.26.360 to allow Accessory Dwelling Units in the Agriculture Zones; 13.35.090 Free Standing Sign Height; 13.35.090 add Institution and Technology Zone (ITZ) to Sign Regulations; rename and renumber Dark Sky Outdoor Lighting to Chapter 15.23 and make various technical changes that remove residential exception, require applicability to illuminated signs, and require backlit or halo type signs. 7. Discussion/action on creation of Riverview Special Improvement District. 8. Upcoming planning and events: a. Easter Egg Hunt - March 30. b. Art in April - April 12 and 13. c. Dedication of the Smout Historical Cabin - June 8. 9. Officer reports and legislative oversight. 10. Adjourn.
