- IRON COUNTY, UTAH IRON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION & COUNTY COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Iron County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action during their regularly scheduled meeting, on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Festival Hall located at 105 North 100 East, Cedar City, Utah. The County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. The hearings are to receive public comment on an application for a zone change from Agriculture 20 Acre (A-20) to Intensive Agriculture (IA), and a Conditional Use Permit for 'Agricultural Products Processing and Storage' use (Biogas Dairy Digester System) - located at approximately 198 S 1200 West, Newcastle, Utah. Applicant: Escalante Farms, LLC (represented by Alec Snyder-Fair) Approximately 101.32 acres, Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Section19, T26S, R15W SLB&M, located within the N1/2 N1/2 Section 19, T36S R15W, SLB&M, Iron County, UT (APNs: E-1066-0005-0000 & E-1065-0001-0000).
