SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL SYNOPSIS OF SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE 12 of 2024 The Salt Lake City Council at its March 5, 2024 meeting adopted an ordinance amending various sections of Title 21A of the Salt Lake City Code pertaining to Landscaping and Buffers chapter amendments. The amendments seek to reduce water consumption, enhance the urban forest, and improve air quality and green infrastructure city-wide. The ordinance also seeks to clarify, simplify, and reorganize the landscaping and buffer chapter to be more user-friendly.
