Notice of 2024 Election for UOCAVA Voters This notice applies to voters covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) and are eligible to vote in the upcoming election either by the ballot we sent or will send to you with a federal write-in absentee ballot (FWAB) (Link to online assistant: https://www.fvap.gov/fwab-privacy-notice). The following offices will be filled at the regular General Election to be held in Rich County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 (Regular Primary Elections, will be held June 25, 2024): - US President / Vice President - US Senate, 1 seat. - US House of Representatives - District 2, 1 seat. - UT Governor / Lt. Governor - UT Attorney General - UT State Auditor - UT State Treasurer - UT House of Representatives, 1 seat. - Judicial Supreme Court, 1 retention seat. - Judicial Court of Appeals, 1 retention seat. - Judicial First District Court, 2 seats. - Judicial First District Juvenile Court, possible retention seats. - Judicial Justice Court, 1 retention seat. - Local School Board - Districts 1, 2, & 5, 1 seat each. - County Commissioner C, 1 seat. - County Recorder - County Treasurer - County Assessor You can access a list of candidates that have filed for office and their current qualification status at: https://richcountyut.org./election/ When using a federal write-in absentee ballot for this year's election, you will need to use the Nonfederal offices section of the ballot. You will write in the office and candidate name for the races you choose to vote for. An updated list will be posted on the Rich County Election Website https://richcountyut.org./election/ or at the link above after the candidate filing periods have concluded. Electronic ballots must be received in the Elections Office by 8:00 pm (Mt. Standard time) on Election Day. Mailed ballots must be postmarked no later than the day BEFORE Election Day and be received in the office prior to the Election Canvass. Mailing Address: 20 S.
