Housed in the Department of Economic Development, the Business Advisory Board seeks to encourage economic development and target industry relocation within City boundaries. The board also helps direct City economic policy, promote small business growth, support local entrepreneurship, and assist the City in remaining responsive to the business community.
Business Advisory Board meetings are held in a hybrid meeting format. Board Members and staff may participate through an online format, and members of the public may join in person at the City & County Building: 451 South State Street, Room 118, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.

BAB members will review the January 10th and February 14th meeting minutes and consider for approval.

Roberta Reichgelt will provide updates on the work of the Department of Economic Development to the Board.

a. Harbor Bay Ventures Wells Fargo Sugar House Project 15 minutes
Steve Willobee, Vice President, Government & Public Relations, will present Harbor Bay Venture's conceptual renderings for 1095 E 2100 S to the Board.
b. Old Public Safety Building RFP 15 minutes
Tammy Hunsaker, Community and Neighborhoods Deputy Director of Community Services will present on the old Public Safety Building's RFP and the RFP process to the Board.
c. 300 West/Central Pointe Station Area Plan 15 minutes
Daniel Echeverria, Senior Planner, will present the 300 West/Central Pointe Station Area Plan to the Board.
d. Salt Lake City Sustainable Work Force 15 minutes
Nathan Chai will present on his one-year fellowship at SLC Green and the City's efforts to meet the increasing demand for jobs in sustainable energy and electrification.

a. Introduction and welcome of new Board members. 5 minutes
Board Chair Andy Robertson will introduce new Board member Brittany Dew, Sugar Space, District 2 and the reappointment of Jeff Carleton, Mountain West Cider, District 3.
b. Bonneville Hills Shopping District and Pop Up Event
Board member Barri Allaire will discuss the new name of where her shopping center is located (District 6). She will also discuss a Pop-Up event at Found N Kept on March 15 & 16.
