A public hearing will be held for the following item:
1. WITHDRAWN - Variance Request to Allow a 6' Fence in the Front Yard at Approximately 1965 W Bending River Court - Andrew Jones, on behalf of the property owner, is requesting a variance to build a six-foot fence and gate in the front yard area at the subject address. The zoning ordinance limits the height of the fence in the front yard area to four feet. The property is located in the M-1 Light Manufacturing District. 2. POSTPONED - Appeal of a Minor Alteration Denial at Approximately 370 N 200 West - Kevin Anderson, the property owner, is appealing an Administrative Decision to deny a Minor Alteration application for the painting of historically unpainted masonry at the subject address. The work has already been completed without approval and an enforcement case is on hold pending the outcome of this appeal. The subject address is located within the Capitol Hill Local Historic District, therefore subject to the standards in the H Historic Preservation Overlay zoning district. Craig Smith of Smith Hartvigsen, PLLC, representing Preserve Our Avenues Zoning, is appealing the Planning Commission's decision to approve a Planned Development petition (PLNPCM2021-00656) and Preliminary Plat (PLNSUB2021-01175) at the above-stated address. The subject property is located in the SR-1 (Special Development Pattern Residential) District and within Council District 3, represented by Chris Wharton.
