SECTION 1.1 - INVITATION TO BID
INVITATION TO BID
Sealed or PDF Bids for the construction of the Reuse Project - Lower Pump Station, Transmission Pipelines, Upper Pump Station will be received by Wolf Creek Water and Sewer Improvement District (WCWSID) at the WCWSID office, 2580 N Hwy 162 Suite A, Eden, UT 84310, or rthomas@wcwsid.com with a cc: to dan@gecivil.com, until 2:00 PM local time on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Project consists of: Schedule A: Construct Lower Pump Station; Schedule B: Construct waterline and power conduit; Schedule C: Purchase and install pre-manufactured pump station.
The project shall be governed by the contract documents and WCWSID Standards and Specifications. To emphasize these items' importance to the District, note that traffic control and public notification shall be performed as specified.
A 5% Bid security is required for this project.
The contract is split into three Schedules, which may be awarded and administered separately. The contract for each schedule will be awarded, if it is to be awarded based on this solicitation, to the responsive, responsible bidder (please refer specifically to Article 3 in Section 1.2) submitting the lowest bid. The Work shall be complete and operable by 4/1/2025. The WCWSID reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make award in the District's sole interest.
Separate Bids will be received for Schedule A - Lower Pump Station, Schedule B - Reuse Water Line and Schedule C - Upper Pump Station; Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for each Schedule. Bidding Documents may be obtained free of charge after 3/6/2024 by emailing dan@gecivil.com. Copies of the Bidding Documents may be printed by each recipient of the Bidding Documents. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Wed. March 13, 2024. The meeting will convene at 9:00 AM at the District Office and conclude with a site visit.
