The Mayor and City Council of Helper City,
A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting
on the 7th day of March 2024.
At the Council Chambers
19 South Main, Helper, Utah.
The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm.
1- Call to order.
2- Pledge of Allegiance.
3- Roll call.
4- Public Comment.
5- Approval of the minutes from January 9, 2024, and February 1, 2024.
6- Discussion on the diversion for the Gay Ditch. - Joe Sacco
7- Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2024-01 a resolution of the Municipal Building Authority of Helper City, Utah, calling a public hearing and authorizing notice of intention to issue not more than $800,000 of taxable lease revenue bonds for the acquisition of a public works building, and related improvements; fixing the maximum interest rate, maturity and discount of the bonds; and related matters.
8- Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2024-02 a resolution of the City of Helper, Carbon County, Utah, (the 'City'), approving the adoption by the Municipal Building Authority of Helper City, Utah, of a parameters resolution authorizing not more than $800,000 lease revenue bonds for the acquisition of a Public Works Building and related improvements.
9- Discussion and possible approval of Resolution 2024-04 a resolution adopting the privacy policy statement for Helper City's Website.
10- Discussion and possible approval to surplus the Fire Department Crown Vic.
11- Discussion and possible approval of the Fire Department Reserve Program.
12- Closed session for property discussion.
