ACTION: Review and approve ULCT Board of Directors Code of Conduct & instructional materials for cities looking to adopt their own codes of conduct HANDOUTS: DRAFT Disagreeing Better in Your Community DRAFT ULCT Board of Directors Code of Conduct 6) Advocacy Update - ULCT Advocacy Staff - 2024 Legislative Session 1) Key themes of the session 2) What did and did not happen 3) How ULCT incorporated data and member feedback to inform advocacy during the session -Discussion question: What feedback do you have for us about how the session went? 4) SB 161 (IPA) veto letter based on ULCT Resolution 2023-002 and discussion on next steps -Cities with municipal power departments that own the Intermountain Power Agency (IPA) who submitted veto requests to Governor Cox: - Logan, Hyrum, Kaysville (provided), Bountiful (provided), Murray (provided), Lehi (provided), Heber, Midway, Charleston, Oak City (provided), Mount Pleasant, Holden, Fillmore, Parowan -Discussion question: What should our next steps be on the bigger issue of state-created districts that negatively impact how cities function? - 2024 interim 1) Midyear plan for membership caucuses on April 18 -Discussion question: What should the purpose of these caucuses be?
