- Public Hearing Notice Proposed Project Area Plan and Budget Adoption Central 15 Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan and Budget The Redevelopment Agency of South Salt Lake City (the 'Agency') will hold a public hearing on March 13, 2024, commencing at 6:00 p.m. or as soon after that as feasible, at South Salt Lake City Hall, 220 East Morris Ave., South Salt Lake, Utah. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on a draft project area plan and budget for the proposed Central 15 Community Reinvemenst Project Area. The Proposed Project Area will be located on the current Golf the Round site located west of I-15 and north of 3300 South. The Project Area consists of approximately 71 acres of land ground-leased by Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility. The Project Area is depicted below as the Central 15 Commercial Center and highlighted in blue. The Project Area includes portion of the following three parcels: 15-26-252-001-0000 15-25-301-011-0000 15-25-301-012-2000 A portion of the property tax revenues resulting from an increase in property valuation within the project area or proposed project area will be paid to the Agency for project area development rather than to the taxing entity to which the tax revenues would otherwise have been paid, if the proposed project area is created and the diversion and use of tax increment is approved by interlocal cooperation agreement with the various taxing entities. All persons interested and present will be given an opportunity to be heard in this matter. Written comments may also be submitted to the Agency regarding the draft plan and budget prior to the date of the public hearing. All concerned citizens are invited to attend the hearing. Any person objecting to the proposed project area plan or budget, or contesting the regularity of any of the proceedings to adopt the proposed project area plan or budget, may appear before the board at the hearing to show cause why the proposed project area plan or budget should not be adopted. The proposed project area plan and budget are each available for public inspection at South Salt Lake City Hall (address above).
