NOTICE AND AGENDA
Pursuant to 52-4-6(2), UCA, notice is hereby given that the Monroe Trails Committee of Monroe City, Sevier County, Utah, will hold a regular committee meeting on the above date at the City Office, 10 N Main, commencing at 1:00 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: (The order of business may be changed as time permits.)
1. Welcome and Call to Order: Committee Chairperson
2. Roll Call
3. Approve 2024-2-13 Meeting Minutes
4. Business
5. Working Session
a. Letters of commitment/support
1. Quickly discuss letters of commitment that have already been requested from:
1 Sevier County (Commissioners)
2 Monroe City (Council will consider at tonight's meeting)
2. Quickly discuss letters of support that will soon be requested from:
1 Sevier County - Tourism (A.M.)
2 Sevier County - Economic Development (M.N.)
3 Snow College (S.M.)
4 Local BLM (G.B.)
5 County Road Department
b. Complete UORG application
1. General review of what's been completed so far (Prescott and Jenna)
2. Discuss which sections of trail should be prioritized for building first round
3. Discuss budget for first round (and grant application 'bids' versus process of getting actual bids moving forward)
c. Letters to private land owners
1. Any help needed?
2. Class 'D' county roads are public access and may be an alternative to private landowner easements
6. ADJOURNMENT
