CHURCH WELLS SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE MEETING MARCH 7, 2024 5:00pm 1. Call to order and list those presents. 2. Pledge of allegiance 3. Prayer 4. Update of agenda and Board discussion: Tyson's progress on grant by Kevin and Brandon. Progress on Navajo Hills restoration of lots with access by roads. Discuss delinquent accts. By lot number only. Make an amendment to change the meeting time and date {6pm and third Thursday of the month} Action on the change. 5. Discuss and take action to receive money for road base and gravel 6. Minutes for 'Church Wells SSD Administrative Board Meeting 1785 Wells Rd Church Wells, Ut 5:05 pm March 7, 2024 Call to Order 5:01 pm those present Janette Nielsen, Erin Beckman, Brandon Jenssen, Andrea Rizzo, Kevin Barnes, Dalton Williams, Sarah Barnes, Jesse Pennepacker, Pete Howard, Tauna Sorenson, Dave Dobbins, Troy Mattson, Patty Kubeja, Wade Heaton, Celeste Maloy, Aaron Langston, Pledge of Allegiance Prayer: Kevin Barnes Agenda: Dalton spoke in regard to Navajo Hill Grant: Brandon updated on 2nd portion of tank. Easy to move forward pouring lid next week. Division of water was approved last Friday. Smooth sailing 300,000-gallon new tank. Old tank is 175,000. Tank will be painted. Generator and pump cutbacks. 100,000 K, generator must be on site. Angle pipe on inlet. Tank must be able to agitate. We could drain tank every fall and sell to Little Cattle. Both tanks are used in the summer and old tank in winter. Four of our hydrants need to be rebuilt. Brandon has been designated to develop a website, as peer Janette. We will receive email through the website. Aaron Langston will let us know about property lines from surveyor, regarding Navajo Hills. Aaron Langston (SITLA) said we need to reestablish original plans. Board will have to decide or add easement. Paid for surveys wonky Platt for lots and roads 1st right and refusal. Legal description of plots. Janette and Erin said we can be contacts for Aaron to work with us. Suggestions were made for turning lanes, entering Wells from Hwy 89. Piggyback on previous 89 Solar Study. Troy Herald oversees Solar for SITLA. Restake water lines. Burt Harris will be grading gravel with road grant money. The road mill will be $6 a ton and Littles equipment rental. Jesse Pennepacker asked for adjustment for leak. We adjusted 75% him paying $191.50 and us crediting $574.50. Giving him credit. That meter 15 will be be put on standby. Our meetings will be conducted 3rd Thursday of the month, at 6pm Utah time. Clerks report: January: ytd: $3,324 3.57% used. February: ytd.: $6,422.00 6.91% used. Operations' 437,356.50 annual budget 2,281,200.19.27% used. Treasurer report: checking /savings ending balance $88,816.20. Bank deposit register: $27,160.29 PTIF ending balance: $35,863.70. Water operators report: Well 1 451,000 Well 3 694,705 gal pumped, Total 565,000 total pumped sold. 244,000 to residential customers, 95,000 commercial,126,000 industrial, 100,000 institutional.
