- Leamington Town Notice of Council Seat Vacancy PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Leamington Town, in compliance with Utah Code Annotated, (1953), as amended, §20A-1-510, will appoint an individual to fill a vacant council seat. Those interested in being considered for appointment to fill the 4 year council seat vacancy shall have until 1:00pm on Monday, March 11th, 2024 to submit their name for consideration along with any accompanying portfolio, if they so desire to Leamington Town Clerk Shantel Oppenheimer. Qualified individuals must be a registered voter in Leamington Town and meet the qualifications for office as described in U.C.A. §10-3-301. Qualified applicants will be provided an opportunity to briefly address the Town Council and may be asked to answer some questions posed to them at the Town Council Meeting held on Wednesday, March 13th, 7:00 p.m. in the Leamington Town Council Chambers located at 61 W. Main Street in Leamington. After the Town Council's consideration, a successful candidate shall be selected and then sworn into office at the next Town Council meeting scheduled for March 13th, 2024.
