Ordinance: Rezone and Master Plan Amendment at 803, 805, 807, and 815 West Simondi Avenue and 802, 806, 810, and 814 West 300 North ~ 4:20 p.m. 20 min. The Council will receive a briefing about a proposal that would amend the zoning of properties located at approximately 803, 805, 807, and 815 West Simondi Avenue and 802, 806, 810, and 814 West 300 North from R1/7000 (Single-Family Residential) to RMF-30 (Low Density Multi-Family). The proposal would also amend the Northwest Community Master Plan Future Land Use Map. The proposal would allow greater flexibility in housing types to develop these properties. Ordinance: Zoning Terms and Definitions Amendment ~ 4:40 p.m. 20 min. The Council will receive a briefing about a proposal that would amend various sections of Title 21A of Salt Lake City Code pertaining to the zoning ordinance. The proposal would remove Chapter 21A.60 List of Terms and would also amend Chapter 21A.62 Definitions. Other amendments are made throughout Title 21A for clarity and consistency. No zoning standards or land use regulations are changed by this text amendment. The Council will receive a briefing about Budget Amendment No.4 for the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget. Budget amendments happen several times each year to reflect adjustments to the City's budgets, including proposed project additions and modifications. The proposed amendment includes over $1.8 million for police officer overtime related to the Clean Neighborhoods Program, three new full-time mechanics in the Fleet Division, $230,000 to expand a City air quality incentives program, and a new software tool to identify non-compliant short-term rentals among other items.
