INVITATION TO BID Tooele City 90 North Main Tooele City, Utah 84074 Notice is hereby given that Tooele City Corporation (OWNER) will accept bids for construction of the New Town Sewer Reline and Replacement Project, according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by Paul Hansen Associates, and described in general as: Work of this Construction Contract consists of three separate Bid Schedules. Bid Schedule A includes in the installation of approximately 3,100 linear feet of 8' diameter fold and form sanitary sewer liner, the reinstatement of 95 service laterals, and related appurtenances. Bid Schedule B includes the removal of approximately 325 feet of existing 6' diameter sanitary sewer line and replaces it with 335 feet of new 8' diameter sanitary sewer line, the installation / replacement of 3 manholes and related appurtenances. Bid Schedule C includes the replacement of 11 existing manhole brick cones with new concrete risers, lids, ring and covers and related appurtenances. Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until 1:30 PM on Wednesday March 13, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Project Bid Documents will be issued in digital format (PDF), and may be obtained by contacting Tooele City Public Works Department, Room 108, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 beginning on Friday February 9, 2024 during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling (435) 843-2130, Option 1. All Bidders must register with the City in order to be considered for Award of Bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Prospective BIDDERS are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference which will be held in Room 224, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 5, 2024. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions, specifications, and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have concerning the project.
