Minutes Senior Citizens Advisory Council Meeting January 2nd 2024 10 AM 1. Joye Roberts Called meeting to order at 10:04 AM 2. Minutes approved as Corrected Joye Roberts approved, Joan Murri Seconded vote was unanimous. 3. Attendance, Joye Roberts, Annette Arndt, Joan Murri, Sandy Ring, Eva Bassett, Bret Wright, and Dawn Hancock 4. January activities as follows a. Senior Council January Second 10 AM b. Lunches served 3,10,11,17,18,25,25,and 31 Meals served a 12:00 Noon c. Lunch bunch Jan 7 at Olive Garden. d. Exercise class every Thursday led by Annette Olson starting at 11:15 and going to 11:45 AM e. Puzzles, quilts, and oil painting every Wednesday f. Puzzles and quilts on Thursday Morning, g. Jan 15 Bingo h. Jan 22 Matt Heffelfinger presentation on Electronic Devise Security. Senior council will prepare finger foods. 5. February activities a. Senior Council mtg. Feb 6 at 10AM b. Lunches Feb 7,15,15,21,22,28, and 29 at 12 Noon c. Painting, puzzles, and quilts every Wednesday and Thursdays There will be instructor on Thursdays. d. Lunch bunch Feb 1 at Chubbys in Saratoga Springs, 11:30AM e. Bingo Feb 19 at 5 PM f. Exercise Class every Thursday except for 1st Thursday 11:15 to 11:45 Am g. Feb 26 activity planned by events department, Bird houses suggested 5PM 6. Reports on Assignments a. Parking lot problem discussed, Dawn to communicate with Direct Communications about the Monday Nights that we use building in the evening, to encourage others to park in the back of the parking lot so as to save front area for Seniors Meeting Joye adjourned at 10:55AM Annette Seconded, everyone was in favor Next Council Meeting Feb 6 at 10 AM.
