SOUTH DAVIS METRO FIRE SERVICE AREA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the South Davis Metro Fire Service Area Board of Trustees on March 18, 2024 at the hour of 6:00 p.m. at the Service Area office located at 255 South 100 West, Bountiful, Utah, regarding the Board of Trustees' proposal to consider permit fee increases. The changes are necessary to update and add to permitting and other services the Service Area provides to the public. These reasons will be discussed at the hearing and the Board will hear comments regarding the proposed fee increases.
The proposed changes include adjusting fee amounts in the following permitting areas: general, permits/plan review/inspections, hazmat permits, inspection fees, and violation of permit fees. The proposal also includes adding new permits to the general, permits/plan reviews/inspections, and inspection fees areas of the SDMFA fee schedule.
The proposed fee schedule will be available for public review from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, in the office of the Executive Secretary, located at Fire Station #81, 255 South 100 West, Bountiful, Utah at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the public hearings. All interested persons wishing to speak at the hearings will be heard.
