PUBLIC HEARING 6:35 PM
Public hearing to receive public comment regarding consideration of opening and amending the Fillmore City 2023-2024 fiscal year operating budgets to account for and appropriate $222,000 in General Fund surplus funding to account for additional expenses incurred for flood mitigation work in Chalk Creek Canyon as a result of the Halfway Hills Fire, purchase of a scale for the Fillmore Landfill, and a feasibility study regarding a possible expansion of the Millard Fillmore Municipal Library building.
PUBLIC HEARING 6:40 PM
Public hearing to receive public comment regarding Resolution 24-02, a resolution amending Article VII, Utility Rates, Section A, Electric, of the Fillmore City Fee and Rate Schedule, to increase residential and commercial electric rates by two cents ($0.02) per kilowatt hour, with the expectation that such will be amended again upon the completion of a Fillmore City electric rate study.

OTHER BUSINESS BROUGHT BEFORE COUNCIL
a. Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 24-01 enacting Fillmore City Municipal Code, Title 10, Chapter 25, Fencing.
b. Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 24-02 amending Fillmore City Municipal Code Section 10-2-1, Definitions, to clarify the definitions of Automotive Service Station and Automotive Self-Service Station.
c. Discuss and possibly adopt Resolution 23-23 amending the Fillmore City Fee and Rate Schedule, Article V, Zoning and Sign Fees to increase subdivision fees.
d. Discuss and possibly adopt Resolution 24-01 amending the Fillmore City 2023-2024 fiscal year operating budgets to account for and appropriate $222,000 in General Fund surplus funding to account for additional expenses incurred for flood mitigation work in Chalk Creek Canyon as a result of the Halfway Hills Fire ($162,000), installation of a new scale the Fillmore City Landfill ($50,000), and a library building expansion feasibility study ($10,000).
e. Discuss and possibly adopt Resolution 24-02, amending Article VII, Utility Rates, Electric, of the Fillmore City Fee and Rate Schedule, to increase residential and commercial electric rates by two cents ($0.02) per kilowatt hour, with the expectation that such will be amended again upon the completion of a Fillmore City electric rate study.
