- 'School Land Trust Committee Meeting Minutes January 19, 2024 (Virtual) Committee Members' 'Virtual Attendance: DeLaina Tonks, Lacie Jensen, Kim McDermaid, Laura Tolman, Michael Atkinson (Chair), Brian Pratt (Secretary), Chip Whitmer. Not In Attendance: Cody Adamson and Tammi Wright (Vice-Chair) Start Time 10:00 AM' 'Agenda' '1. Approved prior meeting minutes from the 11/08/2023 meeting. MOTION to approve the meeting minutes from 11/08/20023. Motion made by Michael Atkinson Seconded by Chip Whitmer and passed unanimously. The votes were as follows: DeLaina: Aye Lacie: Aye Kim: Aye Michael: Aye Chip: Aye Mountain Heights Academy - 9067 S. 1300 W. Suite 204 - West Jordan, UT 84088 - MAIN OFFICE 801.721-6329' 'Brian: Aye 2. 2023-2024 (LINK) a. Plan Progress Update and discussed MAP Data 3. Discussed, Developed, and approved the plan for 2024/2025 a. Based on the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 data, we will focus our attention and funds on the 9th through the 11th-grade student population. The 7-8th grade students are doing very well comparatively and those with needs for individual help will still have it. b. The test will still be given across all grade levels. c. To increase reading proficiency by three-point growth based on the RIT score from the beginning of the year assessment to the end of year assessment for students in 9th-11th grades who attended from August through May. Additionally, each grade level will meet or exceed the national norm's percentile as calculated by NWEA MAP. d. To increase math proficiency by ten-point growth based on the RIT score from the beginning of the year assessment to the end of year assessment for students in 9th-11th grades who attended from August through May. Additionally, each grade level will meet or exceed the national norm's percentile as calculated by NWEA MAP. 4. The next meeting will be held on 03/15/2024 @ 10 AM and will be a parent focus group meeting. 5. Adjournment' '( 10:47 AM) Michael Atkinson made a motion to adjourn, and Brian Pratt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously 5-0.
