Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 1, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Sandy City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding a proposed amendment to the Sandy Land Development Code.
The proposed Code Amendments would amend several chapters of Title 21 of the Sandy Municipal Code. This includes the following: Chapter 8 - Land Uses in the Commercial, Office, Industrial, Office, Industrial, Mixed Use, Transit Corridor, and Research and Development District; Chapter 23 - Commercial, Office, Industrial, and Transit Corridor Development Standards, Section 24 - Mixed Use Development Standards; and Chapter 37 - Definitions, Section 14 - 'M' Definitions. The purpose of the code amendments would revise the development standards, locations, and definitions for the implementation of mixed use development within Sandy City. The staff report for this item can be found on the city website at https://sandyutah.legistar.com when the agenda is published (typically the Friday preceding the meeting date).
This Planning Commission meeting will be conducted both in-person (in the Sandy City Council Chambers at City Hall, 10000 S. Centennial Pkwy.), and via Zoom Webinar (see details below). Interested parties may attend and participate in the meeting either in-person or by accessing the meeting using the Zoom webinar link below. Attendees wishing to comment who are participating virtually must have a microphone connected to their device (smartphone, laptop, desktop, etc.), otherwise you'll only be able to view the proceedings. A listen-only option is also available by telephone using the phone numbers provided below.
