Citizens' Compensation Advisory Committee (CCAC) MEETING AGENDA A meeting of the CCAC will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Members of the public are invited to attend this meeting, which will be hosted live at the following anchor location, Salt Lake City Engineering Division Conference Room 349 South 200 East - 6th Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 Committee members may participate electronically, in accordance with state statute and city ordinance. 1. Meeting Open & Welcome, establish quorum 2. Review & adopt January 9, 2024 meeting minutes 3. Public comment: The chair of the committee invites interested individuals and group representatives to speak during this section of the meeting. Remarks, comments or questions will be limited to a maximum of three minutes. Submission of written comments for this part of the meeting is acceptable. 4. Review of 2023 public safety recruitment statistics and employee turnover information - David Salazar 5. Committee discussion of topics and/or recommendations to be included in the Committee's 2024 annual report, including but not limited to: a. Local area benchmark market data & analysis b. 2023-24 salary budget forecast(s) c. Employee turnover and recruitment data statistics d. Elected officials, department directors, and other key city leadership salary recommendations e. Any other data, report, or information deemed relevant by the Committee 6. Unfinished business 7. Confirm future meeting dates: - February 6, 2024, 3:30-5:00 PM - February 20, 2024, 3:30-5:00 PM - May 7, 2024, 4:00-5:00 PM - October 1, 2024, 4:00-5:00 PM 8. Adjourn Meeting
