RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE INTENT OF RIVERTON CITY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE RIVERTON CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE REDWOOD ROAD COMMUNITY REINVESTMEN PROJECT AREA PLAN PURSUANT TO UTAH CODE ANN. §17C-1-207 Public Notice is hereby given that Riverton City (the 'City') intends to assist the Riverton City Redevelopment Agency (the 'Agency') in fulfilling the purposes of the Redwood Road Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan by conveying certain real property currently owned by the City to the Agency as authorized under Utah Code Ann. §17C-1-207. The property to be conveyed consists of Salt Lake County Parcel Nos. 27-34-251-027, 27-34-251-033, 27-34-251-036, 27-34-251-006, and 27-34-251-035 (the 'Parcel'), which is approximately 2.06 acres in the City of Riverton, Salt Lake County, Utah. A map depicting the Parcel, and the legal description of the Parcel, is attached as Exhibit A. The purpose of the conveyance is to assist and enable the Agency to engage in project area development as defined in §17C-1-102(47) within the Redwood Road Community Reinvestment Project Area. The City will consider this matter during its regular City Council meeting on February 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as this matter may be heard, at the City offices located at 12830 South Redwood Road, Riverton, Utah. All interested persons are welcome to attend. This Public Notice was published on January 12, 2024 to Utah Public Notice Website and Riverton City Website and posted at Riverton City Hall, at least 15 days prior to the City Council Meeting on February 6, 2024. A copy of this Public Notice and the draft Resolution Authorizing the City to provide assistance to the Agency is available for inspection at the office of the City Recorder located within the Riverton City Hall at 12830 South Redwood Road, Riverton City, Utah.
