Description/Agenda: Coalville City has received the resignation from Council Member Steven B. Richins, creating a vacancy for the City Council. A City Council Meeting will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 6:00 P.M to fill the vacancy. The meeting will be held at Coalville City Hall at 10 N Main Street, Coalville Utah. Any person interested in being appointed to fill the vacancy of the office of a Coalville City Council Member may submit a letter of interest for consideration to Trevor Devey, City Recorder, at Coalville City Hall, 10 North Main, PO Box 188, Coalville, UT 84017 by 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. The appointment will be from January 29, 2024, until January 1, 2026. The requirements to be qualified for consideration are: (1) Be a United States Citizen at the time of appointment, (2) Be a registered voter of the municipality, (3) Be a resident of the Municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of appointment, (4) To not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
